Audrey Richardson Jackson was born April 2, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the baby of 10 siblings. She was a great mom to her children Leonard Richardson, Eddie Jackson and Keisha Jackson. She was a favorite Aunt on both sides on the family. She always loved being with and teaching children of the family and neighborhood. Audrey was the mom all the neighborhood kids
were drawn to. She loved them and they loved her.

There was one thing she loved more then her kids and that was the Lord. One thing Audrey loved doing for the Lord was Singing. She had a beautiful voice and people loved to hear her sing in church. What a lot of people don't know is Audrey not only sung in multiple church choirs. She also sung with a couple of celebrities. She sung at Victory Baptist church in Los Angeles with the well known Billy Preston was directing the choir. She also was a back-up singer for the great Mahalia Jackson during President's Eisenhower's Birthday celebration.

Audrey also was a lead soloist for a gospel group The Booker Singers. She was featured on a record for the song "I Stepped In The Water One Day". She had a good life and she loved everyone and all her Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews and countless other friends loved her too. Audrey went to be with her Lord in October of 2019. She is greatly missed.
